Create eternal perspective. This is the vision of K.O. Composition, formed by author and musician Kaylee Orem. A classically trained musician and upcoming composer, she composes music for a diverse range of genres and employers. Her desired focus and specialty lie in the use of music for all story telling mediums, such as audio books, company trailers, film music, video games, and helping others create music for their own lyrics. Familiar with Sibelius, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Spear, Narrativas Sonoras and always looking to grow in her abilities. She works to help others express their ideas, beliefs, and passions, to help bring life and depth to their projects by way of music. Through K.O.Composition her passion is to use music to help give hope and encouragement to others. To speak and relate to the emotions that come from being in hard and dark places, and to be a voice of light and love for those who seek freedom and transformation.

The driving factor behind Kaylee's enthusiasm and inspiration to create is her faith. While her main focus has been in music, she has always had a love for writing, and often her poems and other writings can be found intermingled amidst her musical works. Composer of "Expressions in Waiting" a piano album, and author of "Transform" a collection of poems which chronologically display the change from darkness to light in her life. She composes music and literature with fearless vulnerability, and a bold conviction of truth, inviting her audience to look deep into their own hearts and minds and to seek beyond themselves and their immediate circumstances towards the peace and possibilities found in a greater eternal perspective and purpose.

"Music has a way of transcending us to places we dare not go without it as our guide. Granting permission to the deepest parts of our being to articulate itself in it’s most raw form. A place where the unseen meets reality in a dance between sounds and emotions. It has the power to tell stories words dare not reveal, and the power to transform heart, mind and soul…whether for the better or worse.

Our adventure of life is much like the endless options of a musical work. From the delightful and light hearted joys to the dark and dense hardships. Developing themes unfolding beautiful melodies and taking us on exciting twists and turns through our musical journey. And so it is in our lives as we grow and experience our own trials and successes. We each have a story to tell, whether for ourselves, a made up world of our imagination, a loved one, or just a desire to evoke a certain experience for our listener. With music we can share narratives, speak to a generation, persuade a just cause, and create atmospheres and doorways into other worlds. Whatever your story may be, it would be my honor to walk alongside you in your journey and help bring your vision to life.
